To ask for a fee waiver: Fill out the Request to Waive Court Fees (FW-001) . Fill out sections 1, 2, and 3, of Order on Court Fee Waiver (FW-003) . File these forms with the court along with the other documents you are filing (example: complaint, petition, answer, etc.).
If you violate your written promise to go to court, do not pay your fine on time, or do not obey an order of the court, an extra fee may be added and your case may be referred for collection. Avoid additional fees and legal action, which may include a warrant for your arrest, by taking care of your case on time.

If you do not have a lawyer, you can still call the local legal aid office to see if they can help you get any court fees waived or you can ask the judge to waive some or all of the court fees by filling out a form called a fee waiver request.
