When it comes to creating a document, any text editor will do the job. But after it is converted to a different format, experience with default editing tools may be frustrating. DocHub is a tool created specifically to edit [Form Name] online. All you need to start working with documents is to create a DocHub account. When in the editor mode, all the instruments are before your eyes, and there is no need to worry about the formatting of the document that may turn out messy.

Use the intelligible toolbar to edit your form or create one from scratch. Mark the field that must be filled as such or specify the content to be added to these fields. If you need to make changes to the existing file, upload it to the interface and choose to recognize all the necessary fields as fillable. Finally, if you need your document signed, you can also do it in the interface by adding a specific signature field.

Open the document or template you want to use and choose Kiosk Mode from the document’s action menu or the sidebar menu. The document must be set up with a single role and have assigned fields to work correctly. Once everything is valid, you’ll move to the settings screen where you can adjust messages, set inactivity rules, and create a PIN to secure the kiosk.
DocHub’s functionality as a digital signature kiosk is ideal for forms that require multiple signatures or need to be filled out. Examples include patient intake forms, consent agreements at events, visitor policies at offices, or liability waivers at gyms. Any document that requires repetitive, individual completion without personal accounts is a good fit.
People signing documents with the new DocHub’s feature don’t need their own accounts. They simply complete and sign the form on the kiosk device, and the system resets for the next user. However, the person setting up and managing the kiosk does need a DocHub account to create the kiosk, set the PIN, and manage completed documents.
To exit Kiosk Mode, tap Discard and Exit on the welcome pop-up. You’ll then be prompted to enter the PIN code that was set when the kiosk was created. This ensures only authorized users can close the kiosk or change its settings.
Each signing session is completely separate from the next. When someone finishes their form and taps Finish, the kiosk resets to a blank state. The following signer can’t see any previous data. Moreover, only the person who created the kiosk and knows the PIN code can access or manage the signed documents.
DocHub’s feature for in-person signing works perfectly for a large number of people needing to sign the same document quickly. Events like vaccination clinics, conferences, or check-ins at fitness centers no longer involve long queues. The automatic reset between sessions makes the process fast, organized, and secure for everyone involved.
Electronic signature apps work best on tablets like iPads due to their larger screens, making it easier for users to fill out forms. However, they can also run on mobile devices, including iPhones, if needed. The flow is the same, but the experience may differ depending on the form’s complexity.
If you are using DocHub, you can. From the Kiosks screen, swipe left on the kiosk you want to update, and you’ll see options to either edit or delete it. This flexibility helps if you need to adjust the form, change settings, or remove a kiosk after it’s no longer in use.
You can use the Kiosk Mode feature across desktop computers, tablets, and mobile devices. While desktops can be practical in some office setups, tablets are generally the preferred choice for public-facing kiosks because of their portability and ease of use.
If someone starts filling out a form and doesn’t finish, the inactivity timer takes care of it. After the set time passes without activity, a pop-up will appear to end the session. The kiosk then resets, so the next signer always starts with a clean slate.
