ATF encourages all federal firearms licensees (FFLs) to begin using the Revised Form immediately. The Revised Form is available on ATFs website, and can be downloaded and printed for immediate use.
They are available free of charge from the ATF Distribution Center or call (703) 870-7526 or (703) 870-7528 Please order a quantity of forms estimated for 6 months use.
Its important to note that the form cannot be completed at home. It must be filled out at the FFL premise or other designated location. The form collects personal records and information such as the buyers name, current address, date of birth, government-issued drivers license, and serial number of the firearm.
Otherwise, hardcopy forms may also be ordered online now, by contacting the Distribution Center at 240-828-5316.
The Revised Form is available on ATFs website and can be downloaded and printed for immediate use. Please note that the entire form, including instructions, must be printed, and stored together. Hard copies of the Revised Form are also now available for order through the ATF Distribution Center.
A Type 03 FFL is the easiest to get, its a collector of curios and relics. A Type 03 FFL is not a license to deal firearms, but to have Curios and Relics transferred and shipped directly to their home. Its the most restrictive FFL, but the easiest to acquire.
