POSITION SUMMARY: Provides instruction and supervision in a safe and healthy learning environment for Head Start children. Provides and coordinates education services; works in partnership with parents to promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of Head Start children.
Head Start programs serve children between 3 and 5 years old. These programs are run by local nonprofit organizations, community action agencies, and school districts.
Provide instructional support through concept development, fostering childrens analysis and reasoning, engaging in feedback loops, and modeling and supporting high-quality language. Participates in assigned meetings, events and training as required. Maintain confidentiality in regard to staff and family information.
