Also effective November 1, 2022, the Ontario governments Ontario Electricity Rebate (OER) will be changed to 11.7%. The OER is a pre-tax credit that appears at the bottom of electricity bills.
Who is eligible for the Ontario Electricity Rebate? Eligible customers include residential, small businesses, farms and long-term care homes and some multi-unit complexes, if they meet certain criteria and mobile home parks. Residential, small commercial customers are automatically eligible for the rebate.
