Under the provisions of the present rule, graduates of the Law Center are required to score 80 or higher on the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE) and pass the Louisiana State Bar Examination to gain admission to practice in Louisiana.
How is Louisiana Bar Exam scored? A passing score is 70% (seven separate essay exams, including four Code essay exams, must be passed). Each of the essays (9) are worth 100 points. A total score of 650 out of 900 must be achieved to pass the exam.
