You must visit a panel physician. Contact a panel physician to make an appointment for your chest X-ray or medical examination. Tell them it is for an Immigration New Zealand application and what visa you are applying for. Tell them the type of medical examination you need.
For most visas, you must have a chest X-ray, a medical examination or both before you apply. For an Accredited Employer Work Visa or a Visitor Visa, we will let you know after you submit your application if you need a chest X-ray or medical examination.
We ask everyone travelling to, or returning to New Zealand, to complete a New Zealand Traveller Declaration. You can do this on our website travellerdeclaration.govt.nz or by downloading the NZTD app. Youll be asked some questions about your trip and whats in your bags. Some items cant be brought into New Zealand.
When you go to your appointment, you need to take: 3 recent passport-sized photos that are less than 6 months old you only need 1 photo if you are having a chest X-ray. copies of the required medical certificate forms for the doctor to complete and send to us.
