The mission of the California Department of Real Estate is to safeguard and promote the public interests in real estate matters through licensure, regulation, education and enforcement.
The purpose of this Statement is to obtain information relating to whether or not you are an accredited investor as defined in Securities and Exchange Regulation D as well as your knowledge and experience in financial and business matters and to your ability to bear the economic risks of an investment in the Company.
Accredited investor questionnaires are used to determine whether potential investors meet the suitability requirements of Regulation D of the Securities Act of 1933, which may eliminate the need for the offering or issuance of such securities to be registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
These three exams include the Series 7, Series 65, or the Series 82. Of these exams, only the Series 65 can be taken independently without sponsorship from a FINRA member firm. Consequently, many investors have taken the Series 65 exam to qualify as accredited investors.
