If you dont really care about having more than a couple decent images, you might not want to spend $4000 for a Wedding Photographer. If your Wedding Photos are very important to you, then you would be willing to spend more than $4000 for them.
Not expensive at all. $5k is the average for a solid photographer with distinct style and full time w/ it. $10k is expensive, but not at all uncommon. Anyone $2k-$3k is probably consistently good at photographing one aspect of the day like portraits, or getting ready, or ceremony, or candids.
How to create your wedding family shot list 1. Bride Groom + Brides immediate family (parents siblings) option (grandparents) 2. Bride Groom + Brides parents 3. Bride Groom + Brides siblings 4. Bride + Mother 5. Bride + Father 6. Bride + Siblings
If you have been researching the average cost of a wedding photographer you probably have been coming up with a cost somewhere between $2-3k. This is an okay starting point, but there are many factors that the inital average probably doesnt include!
$4000 is a reasonable price anywhere, although you could find lower (but 2000 would probably be the absolute floor). My partner was a photographer, did some weddings, and the amount of work required is insane.
