RULES OF PLAY Each match is 32 overs made up of two 16 over innings. The Masters Games Super 8s series consists of only one innings per team per game. A team may not be permitted to declare its innings closed. Each innings should take a maximum of 1 hour.
In the Super 8s, each side plays the others in their pool once with the top two in each group docHubing the semi-finals. The winners of Group 1 will play the second-placed side in Group 2 in the semi-finals and vice versa.
It states that each team consists of 8 players and bats for a maximum of 7 overs. A batter must retire after scoring 20 runs but can resume batting when their team loses their final wicket. The winning team is the one with the highest total runs, or if scores are equal, the team that lost the fewest wickets.

Super 8 T20 Cricket match is played between 2 teams of 8 players in each team. An over will consist of six balls. If a wide/no-ball is bowled in an over, the ball will not be re-bowled and the batsman will be awarded with 2 runs. There has to be 6 legal balls bowled in the last over of an innings.
