Overnight guests may be registered at the residence hall front desk and must be accompanied by their host at all times. All guests must show a valid federal, state, or school photo ID to stay in our residence halls. There may be times when the residence halls are closed to guests due to special events and activities.
Traditional students are required by UNCW to live on campus for at least two years.
Students are allowed to bring their own refrigerators and/or microwaves to use in their rooms when they move in. Refrigerators cannot be larger than 4.9 cubic feet.
Laundry rooms are located in each residence hall of traditional housing and in each apartment in Seahawk Landing, Seahawk Village and Seahawk Crossing. Laundry is completely free. Students must provide their own laundry detergent.
Most student dorms will have a fridge supplied, but if not, a mini fridge is ideal for your chilled essentials. Mini fridges come in many different sizes and styles, so youre bound to find one to suit any dorm room. Things to consider are the capacity, the dimension and number of shelves.
