In accordance with Rhode Island General Law 34-18-58, all landlords are now required to register their rental properties with the Rhode Island Department of Health. This mandatory registry aims to ensure transparency, safety, and accountability in the rental market across the state.
You MUST complete a Narragansett Rental Registration form each year. Look for updated forms and fill them out completely. Go to .narragansettri.gov, click on departments, building inspections and rental registrations and the form is the first link. This form is due by December 31 of each year.
