Renewal Criteria: In order to renew the scholarship at the graduate level, students must maintain full time enrollment (9+ credits per semester) and a minimum cumulative ASU GPA of 3.0. Renewal at the undergraduate level remains unchanged per the Scholarship Renewal Guide.
In order to renew 100% of your scholarship, you must successfully complete the following by the end of each academic year (fall, spring and immediately trailing summer): Earn 30 ASU credits in one academic year. Earn an ASU 3.00 cumulative gpa.
ASU merit scholarships are awarded based on a combination of your high school GPA in core competencies, the number of those competencies you have completed or have in progress, and the degree program, residency and campus that youre admitted to. Your ACT or SAT scores are not required for award eligibility.
Scholarship awards are very competitive and if you are selected, you will be notified by the awarding office noted in the scholarship listing.
Qualifying Arizona high school graduates who identify as low-income students can attend ASU on a full ride for four years through the College Attainment Grant. Arizona residents and non-resident Native American students who meet the residency criteria for tuition purposes at ASU qualify for this scholarship.

How many credits do I need to take to receive financial aid? For loans and grants, you must be enrolled at least half time (six hours for undergraduates, five hours for graduate students). Certain grants require full-time status (12 hours for undergraduates, nine hours for graduate students).
