The fee waiver is found at the end of the application. Please note: If you qualify for the online fee waiver, you can apply to four (4) CSU campuses.

To be considered for the application fee waiver, you must be: An undergraduate student (you cannot be in an extension program), A California resident for more than one year, and. A US citizen or someone without lawful immigration status who qualifies for an AB540 non-resident tuition exception.

San Diego State University offers a fee waiver program for California residents 60 years of age and older. Both undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students may participate in the program. The program waives the admission application fee and regular registration fees (except for a nominal fee).
