Remittance advice is a notification from the payer that payment for an invoice has been transmitted and will be received very soon. Once a student receives their remittance advice they will receive their allowances.
No cash or cheques will be accepted at any Unisa office. Cash can, however, be paid into the universitys bank account at any First National Bank (FNB) and ABSA Bank branches. Please note that Unisa does not provider cashier services. All payments should be made via a bank.
Finalisation of your registration If you register online, but do not pay the minimum payment during the registration process, your registration will only be finalised once the university has received your payment.
Conditions to sign an Acknowledgement of Debt (hereinafter referred to as the AOD) for semester 1 and year modules for 2023. 3.1 The AOD form must be completed and signed by the student. 3.2 Historic debt must be materially settled. 3.3 Handed over debt to the debt collector must be settled.
