What do I need to get my interlock removed?

Depending on the jurisdiction, you are supposed to get a letter from Probation (even if you were not sentenced to probation) or the court stating that youve met the IID condition. You take that letter to the DMV, pay a small fee, and the restriction is removed.

How do you remove your interlock?

Do not attempt to remove your Ignition Interlock Device from your motor vehicle yourself! This will be a headache, and on a more serious note, this could mean additional costs and legal charges.
