Is there a summer attendance requirement at FIU? Students entering with fewer than 60 credit hours are required to enroll in a minimum of 9 credit hours in the summer as required by the Florida Board of Education. These hours can be spread out over the course of earning your degree at FIU.
STEM STEP (Supported Transition to Excellence Program) is designed for students who are not calculus ready or have not successfully completed college-level math courses.
FIU offers rolling admission during the summer, fall and spring terms.
To request a change of major, add/remove a second major, or add/remove minor, please review the requirements for admission to the College first. If you meet the requirements, you may then download the Academic Program Plan/Plan Declaration or Change Form, complete it and deliver to one of our offices.
After you officially submit your application, changes to your term of entry (this change will only be considered if you are not yet admitted or a transfer student) , major, or contact information can be applied using the form below. Students requesting to move their enrollment to a later term must submit this form.
