How long does it take to be ECFMG certified?

The seven-year rule requires IMGs to complete USMLE Step 1, USMLE Step 2 CK, and fulfill the clinical skills requirement through one of the ECFMG pathways within seven years of passing their first USMLE exam. USMLE Step 3 is not required for ECFMG certification.
