Illinois Census Records. Statewide Illinois Census records that exist are 1800 (missing), 1810, 1820, 1830, 1840, 1850, 1860, 1870, 1880, 1890 (fragment, see below), 1900, 1910, 1920, 1930 and 1940. There are Industry and Agriculture Schedules 1850, 1860, 1870 and 1880.
The censuses from 1841 to 1921 are available online. Links to our official partner websites for each census (charges apply) are listed in the table below. Images and indexes for all censuses from 1841 to 1921 are available on both Ancestry and Findmypast, and on a number of other commercial websites (charges apply).
