Are there any disadvantages to dual enrollment? If a student fails a course as a dual enrollment student, the student will need to retake that course before being allowed to enroll in future classes. Too many failed dual enrollment classes will jeopardize future college enrollment and possibly financial aid.
These changes, among others, go into effect January 1, 2022, and make students eligible to request a transfer to any district in the state, regardless of where they live.
Dual enrollment (Running Start) means that a student is enrolled in high school and college at the same time. Concurrent enrollment courses are FVCC courses taught within the high schoolsusually for dual credit (college and high school credit).
Concurrent Enrollment students can take any course at OU that they have the pre-requisite course or requirement for the specific course. Must students are encouraged to focus on their General Education Requirements. Students will be advised by an academic advisor in order to choose courses and get enrolled.
For every 100 applicants, 51 are admitted. This means the school is moderately selective. The school expects you to meet their requirements for GPA and SAT/ACT scores, but theyre more flexible than other schools. If you exceed their requirements, you have an excellent chance of getting in.
