Your NASM Certified Personal Trainer Credentials must be recertified/renewed every two years. You will be required to earn 2.0 NASM-approved CEUs every two-year period. This includes 0.1 CEUs from the mandatory CPR/AED certification.

PTCB requires certificants to complete Continuing Education (CE) to keep their CPhT, CSPT, CPhT-Adv, and CPTEd Certifications active. CPhT, CPhT-Adv, and CPTEd recertification is required every two years, while CSPT recertification is required every year.
