Can you drink water between Suprep doses?

There should be 10-12 hours between the 1st and 2nd dose. Take the 2nd dose at this time followed by two additional 16-oz drinks of water over the next 1 hour. Do not eat or drink anything by mouth 2 hours prior to your appointment.

How many hours before colonoscopy do you take Suprep?

Three hours prior to your scheduled start time, stop all liquids. You must be finished drinking the Suprep, the two 16-ounce containers of water, and any other clear fluids three hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. If you are diabetic, do not take your daily diabetic medication this morning.

What can you add to Suprep to make it taste better?

You may add a Crystal Light flavor packet, Ginger Ale, Clear Soda or Apple Juice to the solution, if you prefer. AVOID FLAVORINGS THAT HAVE A RED OR PURPLE COLORING. 3. Drink two additional containers filled to the 16 ounce line with water over the next hour.

When should I take Suprep?

Taking SUPREP ®BOWEL PREP KIT SUPREP Bowel Prep Kit is taken as a split-dose (2-day) regimen. You take the first 6-ounce bottle of SUPREP the evening before your colonoscopy and the second 6-ounce bottle of SUPREP the morning of your colonoscopy, or as otherwise directed by your physician.

Can I mix Suprep with Gatorade?

-64 oz. of Gatorade liquid (NOT Red or purple; NOT powdered). Regular Gatorade, Gatorade G2, Powerade or Powerade Zero are acceptable. Pick up your Suprep prescription from the pharmacy.
