How long does it take to complete the program? Upon enrollment, candidates will have six (6) months to schedule and take the NCSF-CSC Exam. Students should expect, on average, to take approximately 2-4 months to study the materials prior to testing.
CSC: NCSF allows candidates up to 6 months to schedule and take the exam with a recommended 2-4 months of study. SNS: like the CPT program, the SNS certification is also self-paced. However, most candidates complete the program in approximately 2-4 months.
How many times can you take the NCSF exam?
You are eligible for the Retake Exam fee for a period of six months after you have taken your first exam. After this six month period, you must submit the first-time candidate exam fee. There is no limit as to the amount of times you may take the exam.
Does NCSF expire?
NCSF credentials are valid for two (2) years beginning on the day you pass the certification exam and ending on the last day of that same month two (2) years later. The NCSF Board for Certification requires the completion of ten (10) Continuing Education Units (CEUs) during that two-year period.
