Temporary Food Event Permit The Health Department has established procedures that can assist with the advanced planning and management of TFE. Individuals or organizations are required to obtain a temporary food event permit for any event in which they are offering food for public consumption.
Licenses and Permits Required to Open a Restaurant in Texas Business License. Certificate of Occupancy. Food Handlers License, also known as Food Service License. Sellers Permit. Liquor License Permit. Catering Business License. Food Facility Health Permit. Employee Health Permit.
(b) Except as set out in subsection (d), no permit is required for giving away whole, uncut fresh fruits or vegetables or pre-packaged, non-potentially hazardous foods such as canned goods, granola bars, bottled water, non-refrigerated fruit drinks, bagged potato chips, popcorn, pre-packaged snack cakes and candy bars.
