How do I renew my AAMA certification?
You may submit your application for recertification by continuing education, documentation and the recertification fee online or by mail. The AAMA member fee is $80. The nonmember fee is $160. If your credential has expired, you will pay an additional $50 reactivation fee.

The Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA)or CMA (AAMA)credential represents a medical assistant who has been credentialed through the docHubing Board of the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). The credential is awarded to candidates who pass the CMA (AAMA) Certification Exam.
