Georgia residents 65 and older born before July 1, 1952 can obtain a free Senior Lifetime Sportsmans hunting and fishing license. There are no transaction fees for this free license. This license does not have to be renewed, and is valid for your lifetime.
Resident anglers 65 years of age and older do not need a permit, but are required to have a fishing license. Anglers under the age of 16 do not need a lake permit but anglers ages 13 to 15 are required to have a Junior Fish/Hunt license.
Texas residents who were born before January 1, 1931 are exempt from license requirements. Texas residents who are 65 years of age and older and who were born after January 1, 1931 may purchase a Senior Resident Fishing License.
Lifetime Licenses are issued from the Baton Rouge office only. Lifetime licenses cover basic fishing, saltwater fishing, basic hunting, deer hunting, waterfowl hunting, turkey hunting, and the WMA access permit (Federal duck stamps are not included).
U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are 62 years or older. (You must have turned 62 before you can buy the pass). NOTE: Owning property or paying taxes in the U.S. does not automatically qualify you for a Senior Pass.
