No. Your Veteran ID Card wont replace your Veteran Health Identification Card or your Department of Defense ID Card.
To create your ID.me account from the ID.me website: From the ID.me homepage, select Sign in or go to ID.me My Account and select Create an ID.me account. Enter your personal email address and a strong password, then select Create account. Learn how to create a strong password.
You can get a replacement card at your nearest VA medical center. Youll need to bring your drivers license, passport, or other government ID. If you dont bring another ID, well need to verify your identity with a series of questions before we can give you a new card.
To create a new account, go to our VA.gov sign-in page. Then select Create an account with Login.gov or Create an account with ID.me. If you try to create an account and you already have one, the sign-in service provider will tell you. You can then try to reset your email.
Will my Veteran ID Card replace my other military ID cards? No. Your Veteran ID Card wont replace your Veteran Health Identification Card or your Department of Defense ID Card.
