When a child turns 9, they may join as a 4-H member regardless of grade level. 4-H membership ends on July 31 following the completion of the 12th grade, equivalence of 12th grade, GED or having docHubed the age of 19 on or before September 1, whichever comes first.

What to wear to a 4h meeting?

State 4-H Congress is a professional affair. 4-Hers should be dressed neatly and appropriately at all times. Clothes should be in good condition without frays or holes. Undergarments must be worn, but not seen. Pajama bottoms are not considered pants and should not be worn outside of hotel guest rooms.

What is the 4H dress code?

If there is a session where formal/semi-formal attire is scheduled, the following apply: ➢ Male 4-H member must wear buttoned and collared shirt with tie, dress slacks or dark jeans with belt, and appropriate footwear. ➢ Female 4-H member must wear dress or skirt of at least mid-thigh length or slacks or dress jeans.
