This program offers a financial bridge for women and men in active cancer treatment. Our 90-day grant program meets critical expenses for housing, transportation, utilities, and insurance. Funding is capped at $3000 provided over the course of up to 3 months paid directly to applicants creditors.
Applicant must be in active treatment, as defined by Pink Fund, for their cancer diagnosis throughout any funding. Applicant or spouse/partner must have been working at time of diagnosis, and are able to show a loss of working income due to applicants cancer diagnosis.
Applicant guidelines Eligible applicants must not have received prior cancer-related R01 support from the NIH (or comparable support from NSF, ACS) unless an initial grant was not renewed. Applicants must not hold an academic rank above Assistant Professor and must be within the first six years of their appointment.
