Family Readiness Groups purpose: Prepare members for deployments and homecoming. Provide family support during deployments. Help families adjust to challenges and to support one another in times of personal, unit or area crises.
Mission Statement: To promote family readiness, quality of life, and empowerment of military families through education, communication, resources, and community involvement.
FRGs are established to provide activities and support to enhance the flow of information, increase the resiliency of unit soldiers and their families, provide practical tools for adjusting to military deployments and separations, and enhance the well-being and esprit de corps within the unit.
Family Readiness (Deployment) The MFR office provides a variety of services and activities for individuals and families affected by deployment. They have pamphlets, books and videos that discuss how to prepare for a deployment, cope with separation and come back together as a family.
