I have read they offer about 130 spots, and that of those, 110-120 are current UF students. Ive also read that 800-900 apply for those few spots! Average GPA from the first two years is rumored to be in the 3.8 range. Yes, its pretty competitive, and you dont hear back about acceptance until mid June.
The nursing program at UCF is competitive. In 2021, only 32% of applicants were accepted, according to UCF. In the fall 2021, there were 696 applicants across all campus, and 216 were accepted. Jessica Simmons, assistant dean of students at the College of Nursing, said that this year, there were 553 applicants.
