The university follows a selective admission process with an acceptance rate of ~43%. The minimum GPA requirement for graduate programs at UCF is 3.0/4.0 (75%), however, the average scores of enrolled students are 3.5/4.0 (89%).
Students can file their Intent to Graduate form online through myUCF and selecting the Student Self Service link, and then selecting the other academic drop down box, and clicking on Intent to Graduate: Apply.
The deadline to submit your Intent to Graduate occurs during the semester preceding the semester you intend to graduate. File your Intent to Graduate form online through myUCF.
The purpose of this plan is to assist students with monitoring their timeline to degree completion, as UCF graduate policy requires degrees be completed in 7 years or less (up to 21 semesters).
Fall 2025: File your Intent to Graduate before October 10, 2025. When you file your ITG, this alerts the university to check that you meet all graduation requirements, and, if so, to award your degree.
