The EdChoice Expansion Program is an income-based program. It provides scholarships to students in grades K12 based on household income level. The scholarship amount is $6166 for grades K8 and $8408 for grades 9-12.
To maintain EdChoice Scholarship eligibility for future school years, a scholarship recipient student may not have more than twenty unexcused absences during a single school year.

General Overview. The Educational Choice Expansion Scholarship (EdChoice) Program provides students the opportunity to attend participating private schools. The EdChoice Expansion Program is an income-based program. It provides scholarships to students in grades K12 based on household income level.
The EdChoice Scholarship Program provides state-funded scholarships to Ohio students in grades K-12 to be applied toward tuition at participating private schools. All Ohio students in grades K-12 are now eligible for some level of EdChoice Scholarship.
