You can schedule a mammogram at the Womens Diagnostic Center by calling 1-888-BAPTIST (227-8478) or by requesting an appointment online via the Baptist Health website. You can also arrange for a mammogram using your Baptist Health MyChart account.

Can I take Tums before an MRI?

If you believe youve been wrongly billed, you may contact 1-800-985-3059.

What medications should not be taken before an MRI?

This test does not require fasting. Do not take calcium supplements or any sort of antacid (Tums, Milk of Magnesia, Maalox, Pepto Bismol, etc.) within 24 hours of your exam they can interfere with exam results. If you take one of these products on the day of your exam, we will reschedule your test.

Can I take an antacid before an MRI?

 Do not take any calcium supplements or any items that contain calcium, such as multi-vitamins, certain antacids products, such as Tums for 24 hours prior to your examination.

Does baptist health do CT scans?

At Baptist Health Imaging Center-Saline County, conveniently located off Interstate 30 in Benton, these exams are performed in an outpatient setting that is easily accessible. We also strive to get you in and out as quickly as possible. All exams are performed using the lowest radiation dose possible.
