Understanding NJSIAA Soccer Rosters

A roster form is essential for NJSIAA soccer teams, encompassing both boys and girls squads at multiple levels, including Freshman, Junior Varsity, and Varsity. This form must be diligently filled out and presented to officials prior to every game. The roster features critical sections that include the school name, player names, jersey numbers, and requires a coach's signature. Should a team have more than twenty-five players, any additional names can be documented on the back of the form.

    • Names: Full names of all rostered players.
    • Jersey Numbers: Unique identifiers assigned to each player; should be reflective of those worn during games.
  • Coaching Staff Signatures: An authorized signature from the coach is mandatory to validate the roster.
