A bill of lading (BOL) is a document issued by a carrier that acknowledges receipt of cargo for your shipment. A BOL for air freight is also called an airway bill. Amazon Global Logistics will provide your BOL to you once its ready.
For Amazon-partnered LTL or FTL shipments, a BOL is automatically generated on the morning of the pickup date. You can access this document in the Track shipment tab of the Shipment summary. Additionally, a blank BOL template for partnered carrier shipments is available for download.
The carrier or the shipper typically issues the Bill of Lading. In some cases, a third-party logistics provider may prepare the BOL on behalf of the shipper. You should always ensure the BOL is accurately completed and signed by the shipper and the carrier to validate the contract of carriage.
To download your BOL (Bill of Lading) you must first complete an Amazon Partnered LTL shipment and then mark it as shipped. Then, go to the Shipped Shipments page where you will find the Download BOL button (pictured below) located next to your shipment ID.
