Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMTs) are required to renew their certification every two (2) years. NREMTs can redocHub by either taking the cognitive examination or by completing continuing education.
Indiana EMT Recertification The EMT National Continued Competency Program (NCCP) requires a total of 40 hours of continuing education to redocHub. The model requires continuing education in three components: (1) a national component, (2) a local/state component, and (3) an individual component.
Recert in 40hrs NREMT. Best way to do that is through a refresher course. They are usually around 2-3 days of class work and youll do the skills portfolio (I still call it a psychomotor out of habit). From there youll get an authorization to test.
