TCEQ FTPS is based on secure FTP and is provided as a way to share files. Files can be shared within the agency, shared by TCEQ with the public, and shared by the public with TCEQ. Small files are often shared in email, which has a 25 MB size limit for e-mail attachments within TCEQ.
States also may have separate reporting requirements. However, anyone who discovers a hazardous substance release or oil spill is encouraged to contact the federal government, regardless of whether they are the responsible party. All it takes is a single telephone call to the National Response Center at (800) 424-8802.
Currently, the human health standard for arsenic is 50 g/L. Until 30 TAC 307 is amended to reflect the new MCL, use 50 g/L to evaluate surface water impacts unless a surface water intake for drinking water has been affected or threatened, in which case the new MCL of 10 g/L applies.
Renewing a license The fee to renew each license is $111. Licenses are valid for three years. As a courtesy, licensees will be mailed a renewal notification to the last known address on file at least 60 days before the license expires. The TCEQ is not responsible for undelivered mail.
Texas drivers pay $25 to apply for or renew their driver license every six years. This fee is dedicated to the Texas Mobility Fund. An additional driver license surcharge would be charged at the time of application or renewal and be dedicated solely to funding transportation.
