Technically, unit armorer is in the duty description of 92Y unit supply specialist. However, that rarely happens because there are not enough 92Ys to go around. I dont think there any MOSs that are prohibited from attending the course. Depending on the post and unit, 91f arent authorized as unit armorers.
The armorers primary duty is the operation of the unit arms room. The armorer will be exempt from other duties (i.e., Charge of Quarters, Guard Duty, etc.), to the maximum extent possible. This only applies to the assistant armorer when performing duties as the primary armorer.
