What GPA do you need to stay in AFROTC?

Requirements. Cadets on scholarship must maintain a 2.5 grade point average, and cadets not on scholarship must maintain a 2.0 grade point average.

Can you do AFROTC for 2 years?

Some students may qualify for a 3-year or 3.5-year program. Contact a cadre member to see if this is an option for you. At this time, AFROTC does not offer abbreviated (2-years or less) undergraduate commissioning programs unless you have a prior military service record.

How hard is AFROTC?

Cadets ebb and flow, some join later in the program, some take longer to finish their degree and take an extra year, but most do not make it through the program. AFROTC is not hard, but it is time consuming and you have to want it to make it through.

How long is an AFROTC contract?

Four years of active duty service for those entering non-flight career fields. Six years for those entering the air battle management/combat systems officer/navigator career field* Ten years for those entering the pilot career field*
