Who is Eligible for CCAP? You are eligible for CCAP if you have a household income at or below 160% of the federal poverty level and meet any of the following criteria: You are employed for at least 20 hours/week as a single parent or a combined 40 hours/week as a couple.
What are the eligibility requirements for the Child Care Assistance Program? The household must need care for a child under age 13, or a child with disabilities under the age of 18. The household must be working or attending school or training a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Proof of income (last month and current month) Social Security Number (SSN) for the caretaker and for each child Note: The SSN helps with accurate identification. If you do not wish to give SSNs it will not affect your participation in this program.
In order for individuals to qualify for the CCW program, they must: Meet long-term care (LTC) Medicaid eligibility; AND. Be 21 years old or older; AND. Meet nursing home level of care.
Registered providers must apply to become a CCAP-certified family child care provider or an in-home provider by completing the Provider Certification application. Provider Certification questions can be sent to providercertification@la.gov.
