JESSUP FARM HISTORY The Jessups and their sons worked the farm and owned the property into the mid 1950s. In 1963, members of the Johnson family, who were prominent landowners in the area and had the farm next door on Drake, just east of Timberline, purchased the farmstead.
Set in a beautifully restored, 140-year-old barn, Jessup Farm Barrel House is a unique brewery specializing in barrel-aged and blended beers. The taproom offers a rotating selection of sixteen craft beers throughout the year, featuring seasonal specialties and original brews.
A true farm-to-table operation, The Farmhouse at Jessup Farm has 1/4 acre and chicken coop in its backyard. In this weeks installment of community connections we had the privilege of speaking with Jesse Doerffel, owner and operator of the Farmhouse at Jessup Farm.
