Click ‘Get Form’ to open the prequalified WPS in the editor.
Begin by filling in the identification number, revision, and date fields at the top of the form. Ensure that you also include your name and authorization details.
Select the type of welding process you will be using from options such as Manual, Semi-Automatic, Machine, or Automatic.
Complete the joint design section by indicating whether it is a single or double weld and specifying if backing is used. Fill in root opening and face dimensions as required.
In the electrical characteristics section, choose your transfer mode and input current specifications. If applicable, provide details for tungsten electrodes.
Fill out base metals information including material specifications, type or grade, and thickness measurements.
Detail your technique preferences such as stringer or weave bead and specify electrode spacing.
Complete sections on filler metals, shielding gas composition, preheat temperatures, and post-weld heat treatment as necessary.
