In 1909 the name Phrenecon Association was adopted, and in 1913 the association changed its name to Phi Kappa Tau. The philanthropy of the national organization is Paul Newmans Hole in the Wall Camps. Among the notable alumni of the national organization are Paul Newman, Nick Davatzes, Mitch McConnell, and Frank Rudy.
