Education and/or Training To be eligible to apply for OTED, candidate must have one of the following: An entry-level masters degree in occupational therapy, or. A bachelors degree in occupational therapy with a post-professional masters or doctoral degree in occupational therapy, or.
In order to be eligible for the NBCOT exam, you must have received your occupational therapy degree that meets the current entry-level requirements: OTR candidates must graduate with an entry-level occupational therapy degree from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy (OT) program.
Can I take the CAP? Earning and maintaining your CAP is a three-step process. To be eligible to take the CAP exam, you must meet one of the following education/experience requirements: No College Degree Four years OR 7,072 hours* of relevant work experience.
