You do not need a permit or reservation to visit most areas in Zion Canyon. You do not need a permit or reservation to ride a park shuttle. You do not need a permit or reservation to enter the park. You do need to pay the park fee.
Annual Entrance - Park Valid for one year through the month of purchase. Admits one (1) private, non-commercial vehicle or its pass holder to Arches and Canyonlands national parks, and Natural Bridges and Hovenweep national monuments.
You can purchase park passes to four of Utahs national parks (Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef and Bryce Canyon) and also the America the Beautiful Annual Pass at .recreation.gov/pass/.
When you enter one of Utahs five national parks, youll need to buy a park pass at the entrance station (unless you have a park pass already). There are several different options you have when you go to buy a park pass.
Annual passes are available for purchase at the main office Sunday-Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm through October 31st. Annual park passes may be purchased online or at the park when there is an attendant on duty. 2024 Prices are as follows: Utah residents are $125 and Utah seniors 65 and over are $65.

While most annual park passes are limited to one national park, a few sites offer an annual pass valid at multiple national parks, federal recreational lands, or state parks.
If arriving by private vehicle to Bryce Canyon National Park, you only need to purchase a vehicle pass and not an individual pass. Pedestrian/Cyclist (individual) passes are for one individual with entering with no vehicle.
