Without your timed-entry pass, you will not be able to get into the park. 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. You may enter the park outside of these hours without a timed-entry pass. Reservations arent required if you have a camping reservation, are on a commercial tour, have a special use permit or are a Fiery Furnace ticket holder.
Most park visitors purchase their park pass at an entrance gate as they arrive, but you can also buy a park pass in advance. You can purchase park passes to four of Utahs national parks (Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef and Bryce Canyon) and also the America the Beautiful Annual Pass at .recreation.gov/pass/.
Entrance fees pay for the operational costs of the 46 state parks, but any infrastructure repairs or upgrades come from Utah taxpayer dollars.
