The Federation Licensing Examination (FLEX) is administered for the first time to assess international medical graduates for initial medical licensure.
Processing Time USMLE, SPEX, FLEX transcripts are processed and sent to recipients very quickly usually within 24 hours from the time you submit the transcript order. Your transcripts may go out the same day the order is submitted. NBME Parts transcripts require additional time to process.
The USMLE Step exams are one of the most important and anxiety-inducing aspects of medical training. Step 1 is an exam that most medical students take in their second or third year of school, which tests basic science knowledge relevant to the practice of medicine.
Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB): Mission Statement The FSMB serves as a national voice for state medical boards, supporting them through education, assessment, data, research and advocacy while providing services and initiatives that promote patient safety, quality health care and regulatory best practices.
The Florida Senate passed Senate Bill 7016 to expand the residents access to healthcare as the states population continues to grow. All medical licenses I have looked into require passing step 3. Some limit how many times you can fail a step exam and still get licensed even if you do eventually pass. Passing your speciality board examination is not usually required for license but can be required for hospital/clinic/insurance credentials.
When your score is available, you will receive an email notification from the organization that registered you for your examination. Your score report will remain available on the website of the organization that registered you for your examination for approximately 365 days from the date of the email notification.
