Loyola is one of the top universities in Chicago with an LGBTQ presence. Id like to say it may be one of the best there is in Chicago. I think he would enjoy it here - I mean Im a freshmen and I havent run into any problems at all.
The campus is lively, with numerous activities and clubs, but the party scene is often described as minimal and influenced by Greek life. Concerns persist around diversity, student safety, and tuition costs, with some feeling the financial aid system could be more supportive.
For every one conservative student, there are roughly four liberal students.
