The Cadet Forces Medal is awarded to recognise long and efficient service by Commissioned Officers and non commissioned adult instructors of the UK Cadet Forces. Authorised by a Royal warrant it is awarded for 12 years service. Additional clasps are issued for 6 additional years in the UK. SSI.
The Coronation Medal is traditionally awarded to members of the Armed Forces, emergency services, and those who have made docHub contributions to public life. Including cadets in this prestigious recognition reflects the gratitude and respect they have earned for their participation in the Coronation.
To qualify for this Award, a serving Cadet must have successfully completed four years of honourable service with no serious infractions. All currently serving Air Cadets shall be eligible for this Award.
External Awards CCF cadets have also featured in the British Citizen Awards which include the presentation of a medal at the Palace of Westminster. CCF cadets are eligible for the very prestigious League of Mercys Distinguished Community Service Medal for Cadets.
Qualifying criteria The Cadet Forces Medal (CFM) and Clasps are awarded to officers and uniformed adult instructors in recognition of long service of proved capacity in the Cadet Forces. 12 years reckonable service is required for award of the medal.
