You must display the following in your workplace: the Health and Safety at Work (PDF) poster. a copy of the Occupational Health and Safety Act. your health and safety, workplace violence and workplace harassment policies (if your business has five or more employees)
When do I need to report an incident? accidents resulting in the death of any person. accidents resulting in specified injuries to workers. non-fatal accidents requiring hospital treatment to non-workers. dangerous occurrences.
You must report a workplace injury or illness to the WSIB if a worker needs more than first aid and/or is absent from work, earns less than regular pay, and/or requires modified work at regular pay for more than seven calendar days. You must pay your worker a full days wages on the day of the incident.
